The Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma is a project of the University of Washington Department of Communication. Administrative offices are housed at the University of Washington in Seattle, Wash. The Dart Center also maintains offices in London and Melbourne, and a research office at the University of Tulsa.
Core program funding for the center is provided by the Dart Foundation of Mason, Mich.
The Dart Center Executive Committee guides policy formulation and program evaluation, in conjunction with the University of Washington College of Arts and Sciences. The Dart Center Advisory Council consults the center on issues such as training, outreach, development and ethics. The Dart Centre in Europe and Dart Centre Australasia each maintain regional advisory boards.
Ongoing program partners of Dart Center include: the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies; the Dart Society; the Department of Psychology at the University of Tulsa; the Australian Society for Traumatic Stress Studies; the European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies; the Frontline Club and Frontline Forum; and Bournemouth University Media School.
