Join us Friday, March 1st at 6:30PM for a screening of 2019 #duPontAward winning documentary, “On Her Shoulders.”

This haunting and beautiful film profiles activist and 2018 Nobel Peace Prize winner, Nadia Murad Basee Taha on her exhausting quest to tell the world about the genocide of the Yazidi people. Nadia was moved to action after she escaped capture by ISIS, where she was held as prisoner and slave for three months. The film provokes important questions about whether the media sensationalizes and exploits trauma survivors.
