'Restrepo:' A New Kind of War Movie

Sebastian Junger and Tim Hetherington insist they didn't want to make an activist movie. They wanted to make a documentary that showed what military deployment was like, politics aside. At the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York City, a screening of Restrepo, a documentary about a platoon of U.S. soldiers fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan's Korengal Valley. The screening is followed by a discussion with the filmmakers.
